I am a 37-year old single black male; 6'2"; 200 pounds; black hair; handsome brown eyes; never been married; no kids though I remain open to the possibility. I live in Fort Worth; Texas and currently work in airport operations.In my spare time; I like reading (Walter Mosley; Herman Melville; Stephen King; Steven Pressfield) and writing (science fiction and horror); computers; mountain biking; hiking; the outdoors; comedy clubs; theater.I like most types of foods; except overly greasy or spicy; and my favorites (as I am originally from the Boston area) are lobster and clam chowder.I have a sense of humor; although most people will tell you it's dry wit or sarcastic (in a previous life; maybe I was British). I like board games and games that challenge the mind (no; I'm not into mind games) like Trivial Pursuit. My goals in life are to write two bestselling trilogies; make movies out of all of them and retire early to either a large ranch in Texas or a spacious residence in the Southeastern US that isn't likely to be washed away.I am primarily here to find someone of like mind. If I haven't put you to sleep; you can see that hitting the night clubs or strip clubs isn't likely to help me find Ms. Right.

About you

The person I am looking for should be a single woman (never been married; divorced is fine); between 26-38 (though I remain open to having children). She should be a nonsmoker and social drinker at most; height/weight proportionate though tall and slender is a plus. Quirks are okay with me. Like me; she should not mind hitting the outdoors on some occasions and staying in for games and videos on other nights.She must definitely have a sense of humor; if only to drive my relatives up the wall. I am looking for friendship and dating right now; but am open to marriage. In other words; I don't want to be rushed; but; then again; I'm not going to be like those guys on "Maury Povich" who date their girlfriends for five years. Wow; what's up with that? Make some sort of commitment; okay; guys?She should have similar interests; be able to carry a decent conversation and be somewhat neat.
