The album was received well; but short lived. Aleee continued with his work while raising a family. After a producer named "Elliot Sherll"; a prominent music D.J. "(Los Angles)"walked away with what seemed a promising start . Aleee continued to write ; compose music for others ; as well hinself.He has preformed at the many secular named places in his youth ;various large churches;through out America. Aleee has written two cd 's . One called "I Remember";the other called "Behind The Viel". He has opted for his own label ; and will be publishing his own music soon. Their's also a recording studio in the horizon; and radio station. Aleee has recored at the "Rightoues Brothers studio; Jell Studio (Paul Williams);Ca. E.M.G Studios Wa. State.Black Coffee studios Wa. Q&A Q.How did you get involved music ?A. I was very young my mother sang opera ; my dad played guitar.My familys very musical. My brother in law record/played with Three Sounds Jazz Crusaders; ect. My nephew has his own studio L.A. Records/produces music. Q.Who are some of your musical influences;and artist that have inspired you to be a singerA.Many. I always listen to music as seemed we were always by near a church. I grew up the sixty's with Rock Jazz; R&B. My influences range from old 33 3rd Jazz; to Ripping tons; Bessie Smith; Ella Fitzgerald to Jimmy Hendrix. later I became more mellow Temtations; Isley Brothers;(Love Ernie's guitar; Jimmy's Larry Carlton; Kenny Burr el;Dijango Reinhardt ect.; Marvin Gaye. ect. My Gospel roots run deep; but I felt their could be more to what I wanted hear/give send a message through my work."(Move Ya feet)" Get off ya seat!!! Q Describe your sound ; your style.A. I do Aleee. I concerned when i came out doing gospel; as I am representing Jesus; others. I heard Kirk Franklin give an answer to my prayer ; thoughts. Said he was concern too. God said "you do Kirk; I'll do God" ! I liked recognized that so i do "Aleee".Or as young lady sang with me said "Aleee Flava" ..My music comes from within; ; and what i witness;weather atrocity's; or blessings. Q Discuss creative process for yourself personality;working with other artist; producers; your CD'SA I have been blessed with ; equipped with music ; talents ; words. Weather "all" mine or collaborations .formats are general . Beats verses words then the light hit's it an it takes form ; flays. Q Describe the lyrical contentA On "I remember" cd I felt rushed by producers; engineer. I put out what I felt bared the wind ; but always with God at helm .Behind The Veil; is such a collaboration of awesome folks that came into my life via Jesus that i am just blessed . Thus words just flowed richly ; abundantly.The words are time; space; situation continuums of my life with folks; environments. Q Talk about music writing process. What are some reasons you write some songs.A I write cause "I must"!!! It ebbs flows right through me. I feel it have do it.Hear it. Share it.Story mine/others must be told . A medium within a medium. Q How have your challenges attributed to your growthA They've taken me to higher ground ; the rock that's higher. made vistas from holes. Given illumination to darkness. Prepared the way for me others I share with. Q What does your music speak to?What will your audience be drawn to. A . A message given to me from above. What did you learn; take away.A As I stated before I was rushed but ; that can be this business. I learn folks will be folks ; "ya can't kill the music"; no one can take your gift. No matter what.
