About me

What is a "creative demon;" you might be asking??? Let's just say the my creative genius frightens me; and more so because the brilliant ideas in my head far outweigh available outlets...I'm kidding; of course. I am; however; one who thrives on creating. How do I indulge myself? Well; where to begin....I'm an American Indian dancer/lecturer/educator specializing in modern Native dance styles. I'm also a longtime musician (percussionist since 1980); and I've recently taken the plunge (head first; I might add) into the world of spec screenwriting. For those of you unfamiliar with screenwriting terminology; "spec" means "on speculation;" in other words; write first; try to sell it later. In addition to my various creative hobbies; I love extreme sports; specifically BMX freestyle (I'm trying to recapture lost youth by building a flatland/ramp bike from scratch); and camping. For years I was into primitive camping until Summer 2001; when I bought an antique teardrop trailer. LOVE IT!!! Best camping investment I ever made!!! I'm also a fan of LOUD rock music; pro wrestling (when I want to shut my brain off; twice weekly); and I consider myself an encyclopedia of useless movie trivia. I'm a cook by training; but I got "burned out" (pardon the pun) in the navy; and have worked in the security industry since leaving the navy in 1997. My LATEST addiction is PAINTBALL!!!

I'm hoping to hear from anyone and everyone who might be interested in sharing ideas. Interest in at least one or two of my "likes" is always a plus; but people who are my polar opposites can also write...why? Because I'm always willing to "get my hands dirty" learning something new. However; a creative mind is an absolute must!!! How you define "creative mind" is up to you!
