I am a teacher and soldier. I teach English and phys.ed. in a very small school. In my spare time I serve my country as a reservist. I love both aspects of my life. I have found a way to be able to do the two things that I love: teach and serve in the army. I'm very lucky. I love to read; some of my favorite authors include Tim O'Brien; Chuck Palahniuk; Denis Johnson; and Robert Olen Butler.
