About me

I am a widow of two years and am hoping to retire next year. As I have aged I find quality of life is the most important thing. If you have a home and are happy you don't need things. They are just junk you have to deal with; and the less junk I have to deal with the better.I don't have children; but I did raise one niece and kept another for several years. I have many nieces and nephews and I love them all.I have cats and a dog; I will soon have 2 dogs because one of the girls lives in Germany and her dog rebelled after being moved there; so she is coming back to me.I like learning little bits of trivia; don't know why; but you never know when they will come in handy.I smoke and sometimes I like to have a drink.I like to read; I enjoy time travel and period pieces. My favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird. I like funny movies; not stupid movies and good action films. The perfect date----aheesh; have no idea. Haven't been on one in years.

About you

A good person; kind just pretty normal. Of course in todays world that is a tall order. Likes art and can cook. I'd rather not meet some one with children at home; the kids should come on Sunday and have dinner and go home. Unless they have a special need.I would also like to meet a Christian; who isn't too strengent. With an understanding and openness about God.I would like to be freinds maybe just do things together; go to movies or out to eat; or perhaps sit and talk.
